An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated, Postural stability instructor with a level 4 qualification, experience and a special interest in falls prevention and health promotion within specialised population groups.
Working within our falls prevention exercise service you will coordinate and deliver Everyone Health’s Falls prevention exercise service throughout West Sussex. The ideal candidate will need to be able to travel across the county to various community settings to deliver sessions.
We would like to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
Sound knowledge of prescribing exercise and advising on physical activity specifically to those at risk of falls.
- Knowledge of specific postural stability exercise to increase confidence and risk of falls, particularly amongst older adults.
- Minimum of two years’ experience working in a physical activity setting.
- Experience of working with both adults in a one-to-one and group environment, to support positive lifestyle change.
- Degree or Diploma in relevant subject area, or equivalent knowledge and experience gained through working in a specialised physical activity role. REPs Level 4 Registration, Postural stability instructor and/or Member of CIMSPA at Practitioner level.
