Everyone Health is thrilled to announce that we have been invited to showcase our work at the forthcoming 8th European Conference on Tobacco Control in Florence, Italy, from 9th-12th October 2023.

Attendees from across Europe will be coming together with the shared aim of strengthening tobacco control and achieving a tobacco-free society.

This year’s conference will cover topics such as environmental issues, heated tobacco products and e-cigarettes, tobacco economics, smoking cessation, with a special emphasis on youth.

Everyone Health’s Health Psychologist and National Lead for Behaviour Change, Liz Gilbert and National Lead for Tobacco Control, Caroline Kenny, have been invited to present 2 of our highly successful tobacco control projects: ‘Applying the COM-B Model of Behaviour in Stop Smoking Intervention’s and ‘Improving Smoking Cessation Referrals for Patients with Long-Term Conditions on GP’s QoF List in England: A Case Study.’

After our attendance at the European Conference on Tobacco or Health earlier this year, Liz Gilbert is looking forward to joining our European colleagues once again as she says, “Learning from one another helps inform our work in the fight against tobacco and by coming together we strengthen the tobacco control community as a whole to achieve our goal.”
