Service Manager

The key functions of the role are:

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Public Health Service Manager to manage our wellness service across Bath and Northeast Somerset. This role requires you to be responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of the Banes service. This is a critical role to ensure the successful implementation, management, development and continuous improvement of this exciting service.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team in locations across Bath and Northeast Somerset to help improve the health and wellbeing of local communities through delivery of dynamic and integrated solutions.

  • Public Health service management, delivering and leading community-based prevention and treatment services to a high quality.
  • Leadership of diverse professional groups, providing strong and effective direction and management.
  • Implementation, assurance and management of services with specific, demonstrable health outcomes.
  • Outcome focused
  • To deliver the service within budget and to maximise resources available, adding value to the service wherever possible.
  • Oversight of evidence-based health improvement and public health programmes within whole population communities.
  • Community engagement responsibilities to raise awareness of the service within the local community.
  • Attending and facilitating network meeting with the community partnership board stakeholders, commissioner meetings and any other meetings required that may be in person or online.
  • Report writing skills and data interpretation skills
